Christina Novelli began performing music from 2004, aged 18. She was the lead singer and songwriter for a London based band called 'Scenic Drive'. The band was active for 4 years and performed all over London and in particular famous venues in Camden including: The Hawley Arms, Dublin Castle and Purple Turtle.

The band re-named themselves 'Gone Till Monday' in 2006 when Christina was 20. They secured management from Full Portion Media in the form of Robbie Ringwood, whose roster included acts such as: Shola Ama, The Darkness, and Pete Burns from act Dead or Alive.

In 2008 Christina made the decision to go solo. She collaborated with producer Rob Clysedale (David Bowie) and Steve Powers (Robbie Williams, Blur, Kylie Minogue). Both producers worked on a debut EP for Christina as well as Rob providing acoustic accompaniment for their performances over the UK (The Troubadour, Notting Hill Arts Club, Borderline, Dublin Castle, Barfly)

Christina's debut EP “Lost Without You” made the Top 10 chart on UK iTunes when it was released in 2010 and gained attention from BBC Introducing. They not only supported tracks from the album but also interviewed her for an online piece. Due to the success of her debut EP, top songwriters from around the UK became interested in Christina and she spent much of 2010 and 2011 travelling the country writing songs. She was also still performing live and had gained a residency in Camden establishment The Hope and Anchor. In 2011, Christina was the main focus of a reality TV show called “Candy Girls” which was broadcast internationally throughout the British Isles for 7 episodes on Channel 5. As well as documenting Christina’s day to day activities, she was seen frequently performing both her own songs and covers. This increased Christina’s fanbase significantly, and she was called in to feature as the cover girl for the popular UK female targeted magazine: Diva (attachment 1 to this document). The new attention allowed Christina to perform at L-Fest, GoGo and headline at Proud in Camden. She also performed at the charity event for Focus 12, organised and set up by popular UK TV presenter Divina McCall.

2011 also saw the collaboration of both Christina, Ben Collier (Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Olly Murs) and Dee Adams (Alexandra Burke, Newton Faulkner) to create her most popular track to date: “Concrete Angel”. After it was presented to the internationally renowned DJ Gareth Emery, it was reworked with an EDM twist and released to great acclaim. Number 1 on Beatport, as well as being voted as Tune of the Year. Judge Jules played it on Radio 1 as well as it reaching No. 18 in the US Billboard Dance chart.

Christina was tipped to be “One To Watch” as a cover feature on the popular magazine G3 in 2012 (Please see attachment 2)

With the success of Concrete Angel, Christina was invited to perform in Malta for an audience of 60,000, as well as singing on MTV Malta with her a new track ' Loving You', a collaboration with popular Maltese DJ JJoy which was released in 2014 and was awarded Track of the Year. Her touring schedule continued with high profile shows such as the 100 Club Charity performance for MIND, a small tour in Cairo, Egypt and Concord (Brighton). 2012 also saw Christina performing at the 02 Indigo with her full band.

In 2013, Christina added to her significant musical abilities by developing her DJ skills and becoming a powerhouse of both vocal and mixing talent. Christina’s collaboration with
popular UK DJ Craig Connelly and the release of Christina’s second significant track “Black Hole” - currently sitting with over 2 and a half million views on YouTube and closing in on three quarters of a million on Spotify. A further new song was added in collaboration with Dutch Trance DJ Dash Berlin, a cover of the smash hit “Jar of Hearts” by US Artist Christina Perri.

This new track saw Christina’s fanbase increase massively, and she was able to start touring as a live vocal artist and DJ in her own right to Scotland, Malta, Mexico, Taiwan and Indonesia. This wave of success continued into 2014, where Christina toured in sold out venues across Australia, China, Sweden and Taipei. 2014 also saw Christina’s track “Dynamite” released on the iTunes Dance Chart topping Gareth Emery album “Drive”. Also in 2014, the acoustic version of Concrete Angel was put forward as a track for popular US program “The Vampire Diaries” which pushed the views on the YouTube video to over 4 million.

In 2015, Christina focussed on her own music as well as collaborations and released her first debut single as an EDM artist - Same Stars. This was followed up by a package of remix releases which did extremely well in the trance community on the podcast A State Of Trance and Gareth Emery’s podcast “Electric For Life”. “Love Of My Control”, collaboration between DJ Sneijder and Christina, hit number 1 on the Beatport Chart during its initial release. Christina also toured through 2015 to Australia, Indonesia and finished in India to a sold out venue of 5,000 at UB Arena in Bangalore.

2016 sees an exciting collaboration between Roxanne Emery (Trance Vocalist 2014), Christina Novelli and Luke Bond as “Cartel”. The track “Once More” released in the first week of January has already hit number 3 on the Beatport Dance Charts and is set to do even better.
